America’s Fitness Center has been serving West Michigan communities for over two decades. We started in Hart with a simple idea: give people in this area access to a great gym at a fair price, with no gimmicks and no runaround.
Today, we have four locations - Ludington, Manistee, Whitehall, and Hart - each one built for the people who live there. Our staff are locals. Our members are your neighbors. And our gyms reflect what this community values: hard work, consistency, and showing up.

In 2005, Tom and Karen Drenth opened America’s Fitness Center with a vision for something bigger than a place to work out. Through years of hard work, sacrifice and heart, they built lasting relationships, strengthened their community and changed lives.
Today, AFC is owned by their children, and we’re proud to carry their legacy forward. The gym may have grown, but the values they built it on remain the same: work hard, care for people, and create a place where everyone belongs.
